about us

Founded in 2016 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Gaspee specializes in commercial real estate development in and around the Northeast, one of the most challenging markets in the nation.

We utilize our team’s deep knowledge and experience to scour regions for the right sites for our clients, to mitigate any issues or risk, assemble the right group of professionals and create projects that succeed for all of their stakeholders.

Our merger with J2 Properties in 2022 only increased our range and experience in development and management, creating a portfolio of more than 31 properties valued in excess of $120 million. Gaspee continues to acquire, redevelop, and reposition value-add retail and commercial properties in strategic communities while offering our skills to owners and investors who want the job done right, on time, on budget, and with high-yielding returns.
